Dr. Joe Johnson is a Jesus follower, devoted husband, father of six, and Kingdom entrepreneur who leads with bold faith and relentless drive. Mentored by leadership icon John Maxwell, Joe embodies Maxwell’s principle of “failing forward”—a mindset that transformed four failed startups into successful businesses that either exited or funded his next venture.

Today, he serves as the Founder and Chief Entrepreneurial Officer of Life Surge, one of the fastest growing organizations in America, with over 100,000% in less than 4 years. More recently, he launched SurgeU, a revolutionary education company, inspiring, training, and equipping thousands of investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Dr. Johnson holds an MBA and earned a PhD in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Regent University, where he studied the dynamics of business failure and success, as well as developed the theory of “High Impact Kingdom Business.” Joe’s true passion, however, is to transform lives through the power of the gospel and equipping people to live “life more abundantly” (John 10:10), while advancing God’s Kingdom through high impact Kingdom businesses.
